After what seems like a lifetime of news cycles, ridiculous stunts, and news stories about almost everything to do with elections, it’s finally election day in the United States. There are a lot of people pissed off out there, and I hope that translates into inspired voting. I don’t care who you vote for anymore, just that you get out and vote and perform your civic duty.
I’m staying away from most news outlets at the moment as I just don’t need to see the same detail over and over again waiting for the final counts. Honestly we don’t know what will happen at this point. Polls have been wrong in the past. AI has not been a factor in previous elections as it has been with this one. I can tell the GOP is at defcon 1 with how they’re talking and focusing on odd races, such as the 20k alleged illegals voting in California and this crap with ballot stacking in Alaska with two dudes with the same name. Both parties have ballot stacked in previous elections, but apparently what goes for the GOP shouldn’t also go for the Dems… yeah, ok.
I have voted. My wife has voted. My daughter has voted. According to them, they both voted party line, as did I. I have a gut feeling a lot of others out there today will be doing the same.
