Who’s Me?

A little about myself without giving too much away. I’ve been writing off and on for the better part of two decades at this point and this is the first time focused on a singular subject. I have grown tired with the state of things and need to get some of this out of my head and into something more constructive. I don’t often talk about politics in person, or religion, for reasons you will likely find out if you choose to stick around a bit. I don’t believe in religion anymore in favor of science, but I do not judge those that have faith and those that believe, I just ask you not to attempt to convince me I’m wrong. I’ve given the respect of honoring and accepting your choice, all I ask in return is that you do the same.

My leanings politically are generally center and left of center. I rarely lean right as I feel a little compassion for you fellow human being is necessary for a healthy society. I don’t see enough examples from the GOP that convinces me they are anything but profit over people. They do have good ideas sometimes and I don’t ignore a decent idea just because of who it came from. If orange man had an original thought, and I thought that original thought had merit, I would acknowledge that original thought. 10 years in though, it doesn’t seem likely.

I have no real schedule for posting. I do have a few series planned and one is already scheduled over the coming days to publish. I like the idea of series writing as it lets the focus be on something specific instead of general. This is sort of a catharsis for me though and writing has always been that for me. So I hope you stay around a little and join in the conversation.
